After reading that Morris Louis very rarely spoke to anyone about his work, and kept it extremely separate from his family life, I became much more comfortable with not feeling like I had to explain my work to people all of the time, which in turn has aided me with developing my project because rather than worrying if people don't agree with my ideas or how I portray them, I just get on with creating art and then think about how I would prefer to talk about my techniques and processes afterwards, which in turn creates stronger pieces of art.
