Sometimes I throw, drip or flick paint at my canvas, and others I simply use a brush, but in the end I find that it doesn't always matter how I apply my medium, but its what drives me to create that piece at that time, for example a strong emotion, memory or even a specific colour palette can create a stronger painting rather than trying to precisely outline and fill a canvas can.
